Summary:
The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of our customer marketing email programs. The ideal candidate must have superb written skills and technical ability to create engaging email campaigns. This role will own execution of weekly emails as well as lifecycle journeys, including, but not limited to, calendaring, creative briefs, copy writing, campaign setup, email coding, QA, testing, reporting, and analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Customer Marketing, the right candidate is a team player with outstanding ability to think creatively and execute on campaigns that drive results. The role will collaborate with teams ranging from Product Management, Customer Service to Sales and is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with world-class marketers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and implementation of a wide range of email campaigns, including working collaboratively on creative development, list management and segmentation strategies.
  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) in marketing application of email marketing strategies within our business.
  • Be a content creator, craft dynamic customer emails and other content to inspire action.
  • Drive growth via targeted cross-sell and upsell campaigns.
  • Conduct analysis of results and develop test plans to continuously improve email performance.
  • Optimize emails for deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.
  • Identify key performance indicators and standardize reporting to meaningfully interpret email engagement results and implications aligned to industry benchmarks.
  • Track and analyze customer engagement, product usage and satisfaction benchmarks
  • Drive incremental revenue by owning our referral programs.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of email marketing experience, B2C, B2B or SaaS
  • Experience in marketing automation platforms - Marketo, Mailchimp, and familiarity with Salesforce
  • Ability to code emails (HTML, CSS, and mobile responsive email design).
  • Demonstrated depth of A/B testing, segmentation, and reporting
  • Data-driven, with the ability to formulate and translate insights into action with measurable results
  • Exceptional storyteller who has written high-impact marketing copy that converts
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with surveys, through any system or scoring algorithm including, NPS.
  • Experience with customer referral programs is a plus.
