Summary:

 

The Head of Demand Generation will scale the performance of our marketing channels. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual will be an integral part of our next phase of growth; responsible for providing direction and establishing the best practices that will shape our GTM strategy by developing the strategic growth plan and tactical deployment including demand generation, lead generation, channel marketing, events, and communications. Candidates must have solid communication skills to work effectively with the marketing, sales and product teams. Those that are self-motivated and thrive working with a team in a fast-paced environment are best suited for this role.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Be responsible for bringing a strategic vision and innovative approach to build upon our demand generation programs to support the Ooma Office and Ooma Enterprise Cloud Communications.
  • Optimize our existing demand generation engine including inbound programs, campaigns, webinars, database marketing, and nurturing programs.
  • Develop campaigns to position the Ooma Office and Ooma Enterprise to different verticals and improve our customer journey.
  • Work with Channel Sales leadership to develop a go-to-market strategy and plan for aggressively recruiting Channel Partners and growing Channel revenue.
  • Utilize best practices to achieve growth goals while experimenting with creative strategies and less-proven tactics.
  • Deliver quality leads to our sales teams while enabling them to effectively convert them into pipeline and revenue, collect feedback from the field on an ongoing basis to optimize campaigns, and closely monitor ROI.
  • Invest in mentoring current team members and hire new team members who live and represent our Ooma marketing team values.

Skills:

 

  • 8+ years of experience managing all disciplines of demand generation with an understanding of how to balance strategies across paid, web, conversion, webinars, email, behavioral, ABM, and more.
  • 5+ years leading teams high performing teams
  • Experience working closely with an SDR, inside and field sales organizations.
  • A great storyteller internally by reporting on success and learning moments, and externally through targeted campaigns.
  • Excellent writing skills with high editorial standards.
  • Obsessed with our customer experience and the customer journey. You know how to create programs that work at each stage of the journey to add value, create engagement, and drive action.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • The ability to influence and get it done, even if you are not directly managing those you are working with.
  • Experience with marketing software such as Marketo and Salesforce and more.

 

Title and compensation based on experience.
